Dear Members,

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force this week. We want to assure all members that they have absolute transparency when it comes to any data the Club possesses and how it is being processed.

The Club retains very basic information about each member on its database.  We are taking every measure to ensure that the ongoing security and confidentiality of this data is protected. We are in the process of working through an action plan to improve our systems to ensure full compliance with the incoming regulation.

We will continue to communicate with all members as normal, sending emails and information, whenever appropriate, relating to Club activity which is a key part of the Club/Member relationship. However, if at any time you wish to cease hearing such updates from us, please inform the Club Office accordingly.

We will be publishing a privacy policy in due course but should you have any questions relating to your data and how it is being processed, please make contact with the Club Office and we will provide any required information.
