The competition on Tuesday 29th August 2017 is in aid of Breast Cancer Research. We hope as many lady members as possible will come out and play to support this very worthy cause. It would be great if you can wear pink on the day in honour of the occasion.

The finalists in the 2017 Michael Moore Cup have been decided.
Royal Curragh on making their debut in the competition defeated Newbridge in the top half semi-final.
Baltinglass who overcame Glasson in the second semi-final will be hoping to emulate their colleagues who were successful in 1990.
The final takes place in Portarlington on Saturday 9th September and best of luck to both clubs in what promises to be a very exciting final.

Portarlington Ladies played 1st day of the Ethel Culliton Memorial Shield (Ladies competition) in The Heritage Golf Club on 17th August 2017. Seven Clubs play in this competition : Portarlington, Portlaoise, Mountrath, The Heritage, Abbeyleix, Rathdowney & The Heath.
Our Portarlington ladies are leading by 6 shots after the first day & we have the best pair score also on the first day brought in by Celeste & Sarah….a super 68. Very well done on a superb performance by our ladies.
