A message from the Captains
Welcome everyone to another year of golf at Portarlington Golf Club. We are honoured to be your captains and to represent the club in 2026.
We thank outgoing captains Mary and John for leading the club into its new model and we congratulate them on their trojan work in 2025 and hope to continue this good work in 2026.
We look forward to enjoying the results of the wonderful work of Paul and his team in maintaining the course in such excellent conditions and continually improving our surroundings and our rating as a golf course. We would also like to thank the office and shop staff for their continued first-class service to all golfers, both home and visitors.
We look forward to working with the Management Committee and Trustees during the year. A special thank you to all our committees, subcommittees, team managers and volunteers for all the time and effort given to the club and to us as captains in making our jobs easier. Hopefully in 2026, our club will enjoy success in interclub competitions and bring home another pennant and trophies to Golf Club.
To our sponsors, we thank you for your support as no club can exist without sponsorship, and we hope that your business will gain as a result of your generosity.
We look forward to meeting all our golfers on the course or in our beautifully appointed bar and restaurant facilities run so efficiently by Karol and Pat and their team.
Finally, we wish you good health and good golf in 2026.
Best wishes,
Mary and Pat.
