Dear Members and Guests,
I would like to extend my sincere thanks for all the gifts, cards, well wishes and messages of support over last weekend for the Portarlington Golf Club Captain’s Prize.
Thanks to all the members who played over the weekend, to the ground staff, house staff ,choir and musicians for making it a very memorable occasion for my family and I.
I was very honoured.
Congratulations once again to all the prize winners and to all who competed.

The Club Officers, Council Members, Ladies Officers, Committees and Members of Portarlington Golf Club sorrowfully regret the death of Mary Coman, late sister of our Member, Sean O’Reilly, and extend our sincere sympathy to him and his family on their sad loss.
May She rest in peace.

“I am reaching out to all our lady members for support for our Boyne Trophy Team who play Mullingar on Monday 23rd July – 3 matches at home and 2 away – first tee off is 3:50 pm. Mullingar are very well supported in all their matches, sporting their colours etc… which can have a daunting effect on the opposing team.
PS – I will be travelling to Mullingar and have room for 2 if anyone wants a lift.”
Good luck to the ladies team as they compete in the Castle Barna Trophy on Friday 20th July 2018.

Hard luck to our wonderful u15 Boys’ team, who unfortunately lost to Edmondstown GC in a great semi-final.
Well done also to the team managers Brian Hutchinson and Chris Hickey.

The team beat Esker Hills, Castlebarna, The Curragh and Baltinglass along the way over the past few months – very well done lads, you have done yourselves proud.
