MEN’S WINTER LEAGUE (Sponsored by Aidan Colgan / Colgan Sports)
First Round will commence Monday 8th January, until Sunday 14th February, and the League will be run over 7 weeks.
Entries will still be accepted at the Golf Shop over the coming week, the entrance fee is €10. Include your Golf Ireland number, handicap and mobile phone number with entry
League Format:
- 12-hole competition each week (note that course conditions and weather may dictate the number of holes / temp greens v full greens etc. from week to week)
- Best 4 Team scores to count each week
- Members can play any day of the week
- Prizes will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd placed teams
- 1st and 2nd places will be decided by a match play final following Week 7
- There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for the highest accumulated individual points scored
- There will be Weekly Category prizes for 1st and 2nd places in each 4 Handicap Categories
- Each 1st place in the Weekly Category prizes will receive a 2 points reduction, while each 2nd place will receive a 1 point reduction
- These weekly reductions will only apply to the Weekly Category prizes and will not apply to the Team scores
