Portarlington Ladies played 1st day of the Ethel Culliton Memorial Shield (Ladies competition) in The Heritage Golf Club on 17th August 2017. Seven Clubs play in this competition : Portarlington, Portlaoise, Mountrath, The Heritage, Abbeyleix, Rathdowney & The Heath.

Our Portarlington ladies are leading by 6 shots after the first day & we have the best pair score also on the first day brought in by Celeste & Sarah….a super 68. Very well done on a superb performance by our ladies.

Team : Margaret Watchorne/Ann Bates, Celeste Sweetman/Sarah Hickey, Rita Sheedy/ Noreen Savage & Anne Delaney/ Marie Byron.
